At Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Surf Life Saving Club, we welcome new members with open arms. Whether you’re a seasoned lifesaver, a newcomer eager to learn, would like to volunteer or join us as a community member for discounts in the bar, there is an option for you.
MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
We offer a range of membership options to suit different levels of involvement.
- Active Membership (Full / Patrolling): For members who want to become active lifesavers and participate in beach patrols.
- Nipper Membership: For children participating in our Nippers program, where they can develop surf awareness, beach safety skills and confidence in the water.
- Associate Membership (Non-Patrolling): For members who want to be involved in the Club and contribute as volunteers without undertaking beach patrols.
- Community Membership (Social): For those who want to support the Club and enjoy the benefits of community membership, including bar discounts.
HOW TO JOIN – 4 EASY STEPS
Step 1 – Visit the SLS Hub: Head to slshub.com.au to get started.
Step 2 – Create Your Account: Select the option to register and create your SLS Hub account. You’ll be asked to choose a username and follow the prompts to set up your account.
Step 3 – Find Our Club: Search for Tea Gardens Hawks Nest SLSC and select our Club from the search results.
Step 4 – Complete Your Membership Application: Follow the prompts to select your membership option, enter your details and complete your application.
Choosing the Right Membership
When completing your application in the SLS Hub, you may notice that the membership options are described a little differently from those on our website. As a guide:
- Full / Patrolling Membership: Select the New Member option.
- Associate / Non-Patrolling Membership: Select the Non-Patrolling option.
- Community / Social Membership: Select the Loyalty option.
